Not everything is what it seems. This inventive daylight robbery, caught on security camera, appears to be a new stealth advert from electronics manufacturer LG. Uploaded by a ‘regular’ YouTube user, this video has gone viral racking up over a million views already and is succeeding in putting the LG brand in front of all those that share it.
It’s a very clever concept, and the stealth approach is a nice touch to add substance to the ‘viewing experience’ but don’t be fooled (as very few YouTube users are). Regardless, LG are to be applauded for their creativity and innovation in producing a memorable advert in a market where no one else has bothered.
